Hi there! I’m Teacher Setare and I have been the owner of Twinkle Twinkle since it first opened in 1989.

Twinkle Twinkle began as a small family childcare in our three bedroom house in Mountain View, CA. Since those early days, I’ve felt honored to be a part of the magical preschool years for so many families.

Having all the children at Twinkle Twinkle is the greatest gift that anybody can ask for. I love them all.

I have 2 children of my own. I received my Bachelor Degree from UCLA with a major in Sociology/Psychology. I finished my child development requirements at De Anza and Foothill College. I’m also a long time member of NAEYC & NAFCC and I enjoy going to conferences and workshops regarding child development.

Raising children can be a challenging but rewarding experience. I hope to be a partner to new parents in helping them with my knowledge and experience as a teacher. We offer parent education nights throughout the year and enlist the help of many experts and mentors in our school.

My goal is to provide a positive environment for children through the magical formative years. I would like to fill their memories with fun and loving care at Twinkle Twinkle School for a long time to come.

Hi. I am Mrs. Read and I love to read!!

I went into teaching because I have always loved working with children. It never seemed like work!

I have my degree in child development from San Jose State and also have my teaching credential.

I’m the proud mother of 3 sons of my own and our youngest just graduated from college!

I was introduced to Twinkle through a friend and I haven’t left since! I’ve been here for over 10 years!

I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful place to work.

Hi! I’m Teacher Kirk!

After graduating from UC Davis, I worked as a Cost Accountant for 16 years. Over time, the job felt increasingly tedious and unrewarding.

Thanks to babysitting my nieces and volunteering with preschoolers, I found that I really enjoy teaching. I decided to earn a certificate in child development from De Anza in order to be a preschool teacher.

I have been at Twinkle Twinkle for over 10 years and absolutely love my career here.

I really treasure being a part of the education, play, and socialization that occurs at Twinkle.

I have my Masters of Arts Education from San Francisco State University.

I started as a volunteer at Twinkle and discovered my passion for teaching here. I then decided to dedicate my life to this calling and have been at Twinkle since then.

Hello! I’m Teacher Elly.

I’m from Philippines and moved to the Bay Area in 2016.

I received my Bachelor’s degree of Business Administration major in Business Economics at Mindanao State University in Iligan City and Master’s degree of Public Administration at Southwestern University in Cebu City.

As a teacher at Twinkle, I aspire to empower these little stars to reach their full potential.

Hi! I’m Teacher Fernanda!

I’m originally from Guadalajara Mexico, where I earned my degree to teach kindergarten with a focus on special needs. In 2010, I married and moved to the US to start a family. I have two kids—one is a Twinkler! I earned my units in Early Childhood Education at Foothill to continue teaching here.

I love art; it’s sensitive, like young children are, and transmitting passion and creativity gives us all a taste of possibility. I think the best teachers are the children.

Hi! I’m Teacher Alejandra!

I’m from Santiago, Chile, where I got my law degree and practiced for 10 years. In 2014, my family moved to the US and I had two sons. In 2020, I started learning about Child Development and got my units at DeAnza; meanwhile I taught a Spanish/english after school program at Montclair Elementary.

I love the wisdom and positivity of the children and I love this work!

Hi! I’m Teacher Sara!

I have a Masters degree in Critical Studies of Film and Television from UCLA and worked as a film journalist for 15 years before discovering the magic of preschool.

I earned my units to Site Direct at DeAnza and began a small business teaching ballet and etiquette at preschools. Teacher Tanya brought me to meet Setare in 2015, and I have been in love with Twinkle ever since! In August 2021, I began happily administrating here. I’m also certified to teach Adaptive Dance by Boston Ballet and Domestic Etiquette by The American School of Protocol.

Twinkle is the healthiest and happiest school I’ve ever visited and I cherish every day here!
